Stefanie Kate’s work explores the care and cultivation of narrative and the physical body through mixed media paintings. She has exhibited in solo and group shows at Everybody’s Coffee, Chicago Fine Art Salon, Ritual Coffeehouse and Wilson Abbey in Chicago, IL where Stefanie lives and works.

Each piece I create in an energetic collaboration with shape, color and texture. I explore questions of how we care for and cultivate the stories we hold about ourselves, our lineage and the health we hold in our physical bodies. My process is a combination of drawing, painting and sewing.
