It is a recent thing: allowing myself to dream. Wanting anything too much feels scary and incredibly risky. And the truth I know is that so much of what I deeply want is out there within my grasp, so long as I name it. Whether I want to believe it or not, I am being held: by life, by my own wisdom, by the collective human experience. I am safe to want, safe to desire, safe to dream.
