How scary and beautiful it is to live in this world with all these PEOPLE and their hurts and joys and vulnerabilities. This piece reminds me that growth is not linear. There have been many seasons on my growth path that have felt deeply stagnant, reclusive, tucked away. These, too, mattered. It was human of me to hide away and find the rest & restoration I needed. It's human of you, too, to feel the need for pause, for less vulnerability at times, for sitting some plays out. My hope is that we can pour grace and more grace upon ourselves, trusting our own seasons just as we trust nature's.
