you will spend years running away from yourself
& even more years running back into your own arms, deeply in love.
you will be scared of everything.
you will be scared of nothing except your own power.
you will love deeply, feel heartache deeply & repeat the cycle over & over.
you'll always be asking yourself if it's worth it to feel so deeply
& your answer will always be yes.
you will make friends who will betray you.
you will make friends who love you so well it scares the shit out of you.
you will leave.
you will stay.
you'll always be evaluating your life, looking for more truth.
this will at times keep you on the outside looking in.
it will be painful & lonely & beautiful.
you will often feel like you don't belong.
you do.
you will be angry about so much. it will feel too much for your body.
you will love so much. it too will overwhelm you, like there's no way to contain it all.
you will become your own home, your first safe place.
you will choose love over fear again & again & again.
you will question everything.
you will learn yourself intimately.
you'll feel uncomfortable.
you'll feel grateful.
you'll feel tired.
you'll feel grateful.
you'll feel heavy.
you'll feel grateful.
you'll forever wonder how all these things can be true at once.
