I've taken great pride in organizing my life. Everything in its proper box, all the color within the lines so that god forbid I never make a mistake or look foolish. It's satisfying, seeing everything so orderly. It's also limiting and lonely. When I'm held in the trap of perfectionism, I can marvel at the tidiness I've created while missing out on the connections found within any sort of mess. This piece is an invitation, a permission slip for me and for you to stretch past those walls into the unknown, knowing our expansion is on the other side.
