This was the very first piece to kick off the series. In fact, I didn't know this whole collection would exist until I created this piece and found such satisfaction in the precision of the process and the exploration of sewing into an unconventional surface. I am proud of and in love with my creativity and my ability to listen in and let creative ideas flow through me. I do it well, and, I often need to be reminded that I do it well. This piece immediately draws me in, inviting me to take inventory of the beauty of my inner (and outer world) and speak to myself in different, more true ways. I am reconsidering my value and it is immense.
