There are a lot of ways to harden a heart. Uncertainty alone could do the trick. It's a choice I hope we all can access to remain open to beauty, joy, connection. I think that staying soft in a world where a calloused heart feels like a safer choice is one of the bravest things we can do. I'm rooting for us all.
