My upbringing told me all the ways in which I should never trust myself. For a sweet, sensitive kid this created a lot of safety in the moment and a lot of panic years later when I those things I was told to trust instead of myself crumbled around me. I've learned and am learning that all along, It was myself that I was safe to trust. I believe the deep knowing within each of us to be our guide, our divinity, our sacredness. We are holy, each of us. Time to trust it.
